Wonderful Trip - Tibet

One of my dream place to visit - Tibet and I finally went there on Sept 12 with my honey. The trip was short for just 7 days, it's a refresh and relax trip. We were enjoying it even though we suffered serious headache due to acute mountain sickness (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altitude_sickness). Oxygen there is just 70% compare to other areas. The highest point we passed by is 5190 M and most of the time we stayed in Lhasa which is around 3700M.

We took the train which is the high-altitude railway (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qingzang_railway) in the world from QingHai. It took us 26 hrs to arrive to Lhasa but we saw a large area of mountain range and plateau (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tibetan_Plateau).

A place that purify our mind and heart.

Communication Blocked

Haven't write a blog for a long time. It's not becoz I am lazy to write, it's due to the China government policy. Lots of foreign websites are being blocked. Right now, even Facebook, Twitter and some other websites that may spread the messages to cause the Xin Zhang's riot.

Now I am using proxy to login to blogspot in order to leave a message but it really takes time to load the page. And I still can't login to facebook. I miss it a lot :(

Anyway, what happened to me recently??? Let me list out my life in the previous months

1. Moved to our new home on May
2. Went to attend my grandpa-in-law's funeral in Fujian. He died at age of 95.
3. Work is going to change but still in the same company.
4. Have a new cousin

Working on Sunday?

Sunday suppose should be a non-working day. However due to shortage in electricity on April 30, the non-working day has moved to that day. But I think it's also good to work on Sunday especially when my honey is not around. And definitely no traffic too. Today, it only took me 40 mins instead of 60 mins.

Traffic in Guangzhou is kinda terribe during rush hours. And I am afraid to take subway when people squeeze together within 4 to 5 carriages. Doesn't like in HK, there are around 20 carriages per train.

Wondering how Asian Game will be like next year if the transportation doesn't go well. May be it will follow Beijing Olympics where number coding rule is implied.

Anyway, a consecutive 6 days working for this week and this is only the first day. Hope I won't get exhausted.

Life is unexpectable

Something happened without a sign and disappeared without a sign as well.

This happened made all of them feel happy but disappeared made all of them feel sad.

Earth Hour on March 28

Just listen to the radio on the way to the office as usual. But this morning, something attracts me to listen carefully. It is that the DJ informed that on March 28. There will be a global activities which is switching off the light and electricity even cell phone for 1 hour from 8:30 to 9:30 pm.

This is really a good event that people can help to save the earth. I definitely will join this activity by turning off all the electricity at home. It's just simply lift a finger matter.
